On Easter Sunday, the tradition of Flowering the Cross will continue. At 9:15am, all children under 6th grade will asked to come to the courtyard (weather permitting) to place flowers on the cross, while our youth (grades 6+) hide eggs on the playground. We will have flowers available, and donations of flowers from the congregation will also be joyfully accepted. Once the cross is full and beautiful, the children are invited to come to the playground and hunt for as many eggs as they can find! After the hunt, we ask that everyone take their goodies home, but leave the plastic eggs in Byrd Hall so they can be reused next year.
