God's "Abundant Love in Scarce Times"
On Sunday, Nov. 1st, St. Augustine's will broadcast an hour-long Facebook Live telethon to culminate our Annual Giving Campaign and celebrate
All Saints' Day. The broadcast will be comprised of live video, pre-recorded segments from "friends" of St. Augustine's, and music videos featuring the people and ministries of our parish. We need your help to enrich these "music videos."
Please send in photographs that celebrate both the saints of our congregation (past, present, and future) as well as the events that have brought you and your family joy: Easter Sunday, Christmas Pageant, Pumpkin Palooza, Choir rehearsal, Break Bread Together, Sunday School, etc. Please send submissions no later than Oct 16th to:
And please tune into the St. Augustine's Facebook page on Nov. 1st from 9:15 to 10:15 (and replayed from 11:30 to 12:30) for this celebration of All Saints' Day and important reminder of God's "Abundant Love in Scarce Times."
Thanks to everyone who helped with unloading pumpkins on Thursday!
"Oh how good and pleasant it is, when brothers and sisters unload pumpkins and eat hot dogs in unity" - Paraphrase of Psalm 133:1

COVID-19 STAGE 3 GUIDELINES from The Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana
As we begin to reopen and resume the programs and ministries of our congregational life, the Vestry of St. Augustine's urges you to observe the Diocesan Policies for reopening, so that we may continue on this trajectory of health, safety, and returning to the things that give us life. The following guidelines are particularly important when meeting indoors.
1. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
2. All congregants must wear a mask.
(Exceptions are made for soloists, lay readers, and preachers if additional distancing is practiced)
3. Wash hands frequently, and use hand sanitizer.
4. No shared food or beverages (buffets or common coffee urns).
5. Singing is limited to a soloist only.
6. 75% of capacity is allowable as long as it does not exceed a room's ability to maintain physical distance
If your group is planning to return, please email Jamee at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can coordinate disinfecting the space after your use. This task may be required of the group if time does not permit the staff to do it prior to the room's next use. Working together, we can return. Stay safe. Remain vigilant.
God bless us all.
