There should be copies of the mailing available in the narthex beginning on Sunday, and hopefully, the mail will eventually reach everyone. I ask that you spend time in prayer, in consideration of God’s abundant generosity. Then, I ask you to complete your pledge card. The amount is less important than your making a commitment to further the work of the Church of spreading the Good News of God and loving others as God has loved you – giving back to God a portion of all that God has entrusted to you. You may drop your pledge card in the collection plate on any Sunday OR mail it to the Church Office OR bring it to church on November 14 to be consecrated alongside other pledge cards on Consecration Sunday. You shall speak to the Levites, saying: When you receive from the Israelites the tithe that I have given you from them for your portion, you shall set apart an offering from it to the Lord, a tithe of the tithe. Numbers 18:26 Blessings+ Fr. Brad Financial Offerings It is no secret that the US Postal Service is delivering mail in a less timely manner than that to which we are accustomed. When completing your pledge card, you may wish to consider joining many of your fellow parishioners in having your donations sent via Automatic Draft. Simply fill out the portion of the pledge card designated for auto-draft payments and return your card to the office or drop it in the Sunday collection plate. If you have questions or concerns, you may contact Parish Administrator Jamee Meisner at jgmeisner@bellsouth.net or 504-887-4801. ECW Meeting The ECW will hold their next meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 2 in Byrd Hall. All ladies of the parish are invited to attend. Shoeboxes for Tela
